It is now accepted that drinking alcohol during pregnancy can pose a risk for your unborn child. So most of us manage to stay away from any alcohol but a British study into the health of children born in 2000 has shown that mothers who drank small amounts of alcohol during their pregnancy had children who were on the whole better behaved than the children of mothers who did not drink at all.
