When you consider the pace of change in today's society there is no doubt that our children would probably not be able to make heads or tails of our own childhoods. Yet if we turn the hands of time back a little further could we recognise childhood as it existed 100 or 200 years ago? Surely not that much could have changed? Two years ago The Johnston Collection curated an exhibition of childhood artifacts that would have left you astounded at how differently children were treated by our great and great great grandparents.
In a time where we're all threatened by a rhetoric of hate from the people in power; A Gay And A NonGay challenges many of our differences head on and promises that no matter who you are, or what you're into (Bruce Springsteen or Britney), love is love and gay and nongays can be friends.
