No matter how resilient your child is, there will always come a time when they turn on the tears at being separated from you. Some parents have to deal with a near constant series of tantrums and tears when it comes to leaving them in someone else's' care. It's known as 'Separation Anxiety' but Family Therapist Diane Levy believes there are some easy techniques to minimise the trauma and tears for both parents and anxious children.
