Gina Williams: Noongar language lives in song

Indigenous singer-songwriter Gina Williams and guitarist Guy Ghouse will be joining the hundreds of musicians, singers, dancers , poets, and artisans who perform over the five days of the National Folk Festival in Canberra. The duo have won awards in Western Australia, their home State, and critical acclaim for their debut album Kalyakoorl. Each song is in Noongar Language, an indigenous language with only about two hundred and fifty living speakers.
