Battle of Waterloo is an Aboriginal love story, set in the James Cook Estate in inner Sydney, about a promising fashion designer whose life is turned upside down when her boyfriend returns from 3 years in prison. It's the first play by Indigenous actor Kylie Coolwell, and it's opening as a main stage production at the Sydney Theatre Company this week.
