Survivors: stories from Nanima mission

A series of 'head-on' photographic portraits, Survivors is a historical document as much an exhibition. Asher Milgate photographed some of the elders from around Wellington in inland New South Wales who grew up on Nanima mission, the country's oldest continually run Aboriginal reserve. At the same time he recorded their oral histories.
