The US President says China has started 'putting out feelers' over the huge free trade agreement - the Trans-Pacific Partnership - currently being negotiated between twelve countries in the Pacific Rim. In an interview with Kai Ryssdal from our partners at US public radio programme Marketplace, Mr Obama also argues America cannot afford to stay out of such deals, despite vocal opposition from many in his own party who say it would result in lower wages and fewer jobs at home.
Jessica Helfand and Michael Bierut explore how design works within complex organizations to shape decisions, ideas, products, and more. Guests include clients from many industries and designers in many fields. Recorded at the Yale School of Management.
