Carson backs Trump on Clinton 'investigation'

October 10th, 2016

Episode 1247 of 1273 episodes

Donald Trump says that if elected he would get his attorney general to investigate Hillary Clinton over her email practices. Trump backer and former presidential candidate Ben Carson says "anybody else would be in jail". In the debate, Mr Trump admitted he and running mate Mike Pence disagreed about use of force in Syria, fuelling questions about whether it is possible Mr Pence might drop out of the campaign. If that were to happen, Justin Webb asked Mr Carson, would he be willing to become vice-presidential candidate? (Image: Ben Carson and Donald Trump. Credit: Reuters)
