June 22nd, 2016

Episode 1033 of 1744 episodes

The grandfather of murdered six-year-old Ellie Butler has called for a public inquiry into why she was returned to the care of her parents. Neal Gray said that his granddaughter was "petrified" of her father Ben Butler and mother Jennie Gray and described the "sadness in her eyes" when he last saw her. Mr Gray said he had previously warned that a family court judge could have "blood on her hands" when Ellie was returned to her parents. He spoke to Today programme Justin Webb. (Photo: Ellie Butler.
