The author Eowyn Ivey, was shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize for her global best seller The Snow Child in 2012. Now, four years later, she's back with her highly anticipated second novel To the Bright Edge of the World. As she tells arts correspondent Rebecca Jones, the novel is once again set in Alaska, where Eowyn herself was raised and still lives, and tells the story of a late nineteenth century expedition into that beautiful but forbidding wilderness.
