Pfizer boss: UK cancer survival rate 'lagging'

Today the government's consultation on the new shape of the Cancer Drugs Fund will come to an end. The managing director of Pfizer UK Erik Nordkamp explained on the Today programme why he has said he would not want to be a cancer patient in England. "The survival rate in the UK...is really lagging behind," he said. “If you look at the economic climate in the UK…there is a relationship between business sentiment…and the fairly hostile environment for the uptake of innovative medicines in the UK.”
