Piers Morgan on Donald Trump

March 2nd, 2016

Episode 861 of 1744 episodes

Piers Morgan, who has known Donald Trump for 10 years, has described the Republican presidential candidate as someone with "warmth", "good humour" and a "sense of perspective". Trump won the most states out of the Republicans on Super Tuesday, the biggest day of the race for the US presidential nominations. "I saw somebody who had a warmth, a good humour, a sense of perspective so when I see Trump being more outrageous...I think he’s just doing that to grab media attention and I think the reality of a Trump presidency, if it came to it, would be an awful lot more moderate,” said the former Daily Mirror editor.
