The requirement for new nursery staff in England to have at least grade C GCSE passes in English and Maths will lead to "catastrophic" staff shortages and should be scrapped, campaigners say. Chief executive of the London Early Years Foundation June O’Sullivan discussed the effect the rules will have and whether or not they are relevant.
