Britain’s major supermarkets and several manufacturers are committing to work together to cut food waste in the UK by a fifth over the coming decade. Tristram Stuart is a writer and campaigner against food waste. Reporter Zoe Conway went to visit FareShare, a charity that takes redistributes unsold food from supermarkets to those in need around the country.
