However, a backlash is now under way to reinvent the album sleeve for a new generation. Mark Schifferli is a software engineer at Fathom Information Design and Matthew Cooper is a freelance designer who has worked for bands including Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and Four Tet.
