This week's guest judge is Henry Medina, creative director, DDB Bolivia.He is one of the leading Bolivian creative directors. His work towardsplacing the country on the advertising map is at the heart of his campaigns and has seen him awarded many times.He has been the recipient of the only LIA award and the only Classic Gold andBronce in Radio Category at El Ojo de Iberoamerica awarded to a bolivianagency and the only Bolivian Jury at El Ojo de Iberoamerica and The NewYork Festivals as well.Henry started his advertising career at BBDO Peru, working later foragencies as McCann Peru, D'Arcy Peru, moving later to McCann Bolivia asgeneral creative director taking the agency to the number one position inthe industry from 2003 to 2008 when he finally started his own business -DDB Bolivia -Â company he co-founded with Emanuelle Medina, awarded Agencyof the Year in 2010 till now.He has worked for clients such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nestle, Sony,Microsoft, AB-InBev, Jeep, Ford, Toyota, Citibank, Unilever, Procter andGamble among others exporting regional and global campaigns for Coca-Colaand Sony several times -Â again a bolivian first.He has also taught Marketing & Advertising classes at Toulouse Lautrec,Universidad de Los Andes, UNIFRANZ and Universidad Catalica Boliviana andhas been columnist for the main bolivian Newspapers and internationaladvertising websites as well.He has won at the main local and international festivals but he is working very hard to bring the first Cannes Lion ever to the country. Says Medina: "If there are not great budgets, there should be great ideas."
