This week's guest judge is Remy Kurpershoek, executive creative director, XXS Amsterdam.Remy started his career in advertising as an art director at JWT Amsterdam. After being named 'Young Talent of the Year' by the VEA (Dutch Association of Advertising), he made the bold but rewarding move to JWT International.In 2008, Remy switched JWT International for a position at BSUR-HQ, Amsterdam. In that same year he was selected to represent The Netherlands at the 'Cannes Lions Roger Hatchuel Academy'.In 2009, he joined BSUR founder and ECD Joost Perik in the development and execution of the challenging pitch assigned for the global 'MINI' account' which they won. Shortly after he was named creative supervisor and was responsible for the selection, mentorship and supervision of all new creative talents at BSUR. In addition Remy oversaw the development and execution of incoming client-briefs and ongoing projects. After five years, Remy decided to move to XXS Amsterdam, working on national and international clients such as HEMA and Orangina Schweppes. Throughout his career Remy has received numerous international recognitions and been invited to judge several awards. As an ECD he strives to find new ways to engage and entertain consumers in tradigital ways, solving the business challenges of the agency's most progressive clients.
