October 13th, 2015

Episode 730 of 1214 episodes

It seems we are hearing of mass shootings almost every other week in the United States. But who can forget the tragic events that unfolded at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012 when a gunman callously killed 20 first-graders and six adults. Kaitlin Roig-Debellis was the first grade teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary school. She lived through this tragedy, saving her students by hiding in a tiny bathroom. Kaitlin's memoir is Choosing Hope.
