Brain Science was launched in 2006 by Dr. Ginger Campbell, an experienced emergency physician with a passion for exploring how recent discoveries in neuroscience are revealing how our brains make us who we are. This podcast is for non-scientists, scientists, and everyone in between. We interview scientists and discuss the latest books about the brain. The show is on hiatus until September 2016, but all episodes posted since January 2013 are available for FREE in iTunes. Please visit our website for more episodes and transcripts.

Episode 99 is an interview with Temple Grandin author of "The Autistic Brain: Thinking Across the Spectrum." Last month we focused on the neuroscience of autism, but this month's episode focuses on practical advice. Because some of the challenges of autism overlap with those faced by "normal" people, I think Dr. Grandin's advice will be valuable to a wide range of listeners.
