It's no secret that the Australian film industry struggles most years to find a local audience interested in local product, but in 2015 box office for local movies is already way ahead of last year. Mad Max and the Water Diviner can take a bow for much of that but the other movie that grossed more than $9.5 million at the box office features no guns, no explosions and no high calibre toys. Paper Planes is about a young boy, Dylan, who folds paper to fly it. It's loosely based on the story of Dylan Parker and James Norton. They joined RN Afternoons to talk the art of making paper fly.
