The Queensland Art Gallery - designed by the celebrated Queensland architect Robin Gibson – was built in the 1970s, the first of a number of Robin Gibson designed buildings on the Southbank cultural precinct, including the Performing Arts Centre, the Queensland Museum and the State Library.
