Scouring the globe in search of the perfect beat, club and radio DJ Gilles Peterson has been engulfed in the scene from an early age. Here, Gilles treats us to a diverse House mix, his first ever, then plunges into his legendary record collection to construct a jazz soul disco funk odyssey beyond comparison, before chucking in few specially commissioned exclusives for good measure. The first CD includes an incredibly varied mix of tracks including soulful melodies from Wahoo and Larry Heard, deep beats and soaring sax from Dennis Ferrer and tech vibes from Stimming and Roland Appel. CD 2 features a host of classic tunes including Willie Hutchs 'Brothers Gonna Work It Out', Earth, Wind and Fire's 'Let My Feelings Show' and the sublime 'Circles' from Rufus feat. Chaka Khan. The final CD includes especially commissioned tracks from the likes of Karizma, DJ Sneak, Kings of Tomorrow and Carl Craig. Gilles Peterson is In the House.
