In a speech today, Prime Minister Abbott called the Islamic community to account for failing to sufficiently denounce terrorism. The Prime Minister was speaking at the AFP headquarters where he unveiled the Review of Australia's Counter-Terrorism Machinery. How does a multicultural democracy like Norway deal with the problem of radicalisation and extremism, and are there lessons for Australia? On 8 February this year, the South Australian Premier, Jay Weatherill announced a Royal Commission to "allow South Australians to consider what role out State canand should play in the fuel cycle for the peaceful use of nuclear energy". Today the draft terms of reference were released and there will be public consultation on these until 13 March.
