Few photographers in the history of photography cast a longer shadow of influence than Ansel Adams. In this podcast, Brooks relates a surprising and somewhat inverted way in which Adams' influenced his creative life. Brooks' latest personal project is called Kokoro: Wandering Through a Photographic Life. The term kokoro is Japanese for the heart/mind, or as we say colloquially, "the heart of things." It's an ongoing series of short PDFs exploring a variety of subjects in the form of an image journal. There is a new installment in the series every 4th day, and these are gathered into a compilation at the end of each month. Kokoro is available via RSS feed or from Brooks' website at www.brooksjensenarts.com.
