Mehrdad Nikfarjam, Senior lecturer at University of Melbourne Department of Surgeryisan advanced and minimally invasiveliver, pancreatic and biliary surgeon at Austin health in Melbourne. His clinical research interest focuses on techniques aimed atimproving the management of patients with pancreatic cancer. He is the founder of Pancare Foundation, aimed at awareness,research, education and support (patient and family) relating to pancreatic, liver, biliary and foregut cancers. Dannel Yeois a PhD candidate at Department of Surgery (Austin), University of Melbourne and a research scientist. His researchis looking into a protein called p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) and studying its role, and examining its therapeutic potential inpancreatic cancer.
