Einstein A Go Go Podcast: Apr 6th 2008

April 6th, 2008

Episode 36 of 433 episodes

The Science Friction topic for today was 'sustainability projects and communication'. We heard from Kate Brennan, CEO of Federation Square in Melbourne, who told us all about the amazing sustainability measures that have been implemented at the venue. Next we spoke with Kate Phillips, science communicator and coordinating senior curator of the Science and Life Gallery at Museum Victoria. Kate discussed 'sustainability communication' – a similar but different art to science communication. Finally, we talked a little science and religion with Tom Middlebrook who is doing a show in the comedy festival called "Weird Science". Other stories were: Messenger's rendezvous with Mercury, and the launching of the carbon dioxide geosequestration project in south-western Victoria.
