Episode 12 of 433 episodes

We're back after a two week podcasting break during the annual Triple R Radiothon. This week we spoke with Alex, a PhD student from the University of Melbourne. Malaria kills two million mothers and their children every year. Alex studies how the malaria parasite infects pregnant women and how to prevent it. We also heard about the amazing array of collections and specimens collected by the CSIRO. Other stories were Google Sky, virtual plagues in World of Warcraft and dancing robots.
