This week on the Breakfasters…The recent discovery of a self-help book from the year 1740 was the inspiration for Jess' segment on the range of similar books from previous centuries; Brian Thacker came in to discuss his book, Tell Them To Get Lost, which is his travel guide based on his trip to South-East Asia. During this trip he followed Tony Wheeler's original Lonely Planet guidebook which was published in 1974. Brian Nankervis came into the studios to talk about the upcoming national RocKwiz Tour; Crikey's Canberra correspondent, Bernard Keane, phoned in to talk about the current political debate on the Malaysian asylum seekers "swap deal"; and in this week's 'Touch My History' segment Chris McConville gave us a brief history of The Royal Melbourne Show.We hope you enjoy the best of the Breakfasters!
