Launceston’s Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery hosts an exhibition featuring the ship, Sydney Cove built in Calcutta and mostly used for short trading trips around the Indian coast. But in 1797 Sydney Cove attempted a voyage from Calcutta to Port Jackson, and never reached its destination.
