Vanessa Lussini : Organic chemist working to make planes safer

Vanessa Lussini is a doing more than just watching paint dry. Vanessa, a PhD candidate in the School of Chemistry, Physics and Mechanical Engineering at QUT, has developed new sensors that monitor the breakdown of paint on planes, thus making flying safer. Vanessa has become the first woman to win an Aerospace Australia award.
