The Mexican Suitcase microsite: http://museum.icp.org/mexican_suitcase/ In 2007, the International Center of Photography took possession of one of the great missing treasures of the 20th century. The Mexican Suitcase is a series of boxes containing missing negatives taken of the Spanish Civil War by three of the great photojournalists of the era. Images by Frank Capa, Gerda Taro and Chim (David Seymour) were missing for over 70 years. How did these negatives go missing and how were they recovered? This is the story we'll look at in this video. http://theartofphotography.tv/episodes/mexican-suitcase http://twitter.com/tedforbes http://pinterest.com/tedforbes ================ This episode is sponsored by Squarespace For a free trial and 10% off, use offer code AOP http://squarespace.com
