I bet you've been told your entire life that if you want something, you're going to have to work well with other people. That's mostly true, if you want to experience an average life. If you demand an extraordinary life, there's a little more to it. Don't get me wrong, you should always focus on getting along with others, collaboration, not stepping on toes, and in general, being nice. It's just a better way to live. However, if you want to be more than average, you'll need to add a step before you automatically do all the nice stuff. You'll need to starting thinking for yourself, owning what you believe, and be willing to venture where others choose to shy away. Don't let that scare you. It should excite you! Today, why not take a moment and decide what's really important to you.
