Every Friday, I rush off to a standing appointment with my dog's agility instructor. Levi is an Australian Shepherd, and we're both loving the bonding experience in learning to negotiate a field full of obstacles while running as fast as we can. Wow, that sure sounds a lot like life! In agility, you are required to choose the next obstacle on your path, and you will need to avoid those obstacles, which have been set, purposely, to distract you. You must learn to discriminate, make the correct choice without hesitation, and stay on the course. Whoa, that sounds like life, too! Yes, getting what you want in life is about knowing what you desire. Now, you know that it's also about avoiding anything that will distract you from obtaining your goal.
