This Week on the pokercast: We continue along the vein of Poker and artificial intelligence. To kick it off Terrence talks about preparations for his upcoming fight and the guys review the highly anticipated May/Pac fight of this past weekend. Upcoming episodes and guest hosts and The Riviera closing/selling off their equipment is also discussed as we jump into “In Case You Missed It”. This week: Pokerstars announces changes to their revenue sharing programs, Tim Ferriss learns poker, TDA discussions of a rule change, The EPT Monaco Super High roller and Grand Final, Cristiano Ronaldo posts a poker pic and more. The guys update the humans vs. AI challenge from last week and we move along into segment 2. Nikolai Yakovenko is our feature guest, in order to learn more about AI and poker we needed an expert. Nikolai is the creator of the hugely popular ABC Poker app for open face chinese poker, he has worked for Google, spent lots of time in underground New York poker clubs and has over $500k in live tournament cashes. Nikolai shares insight on all of the AI questions we can throw at him and tells some of his tales from the felt. In our final segment of the week Steve Day joins us from the Isle of Man to talk about SCOOP and Pokerstars making millionaires. The guys tackle a bunch of strategy questions from listeners and the “Rossco Report”, review tweets in “140 or less”, give forum shout outs and answer the mailbag. As always, the password for the pokercast invitational on Pokerstars is included somewhere in the show. (Featured guests: Nikolai Yakovenko)
