This week on the Pokercast: Terrence joins us from Vegas after his WSOP comes to an end and we’ve got another great WSOP episode for you! To kick things off Adam has a couple bits of news, Terrence gives a preview of his picks for this weekends UFC, and Ross also has some news from this week before we jump into the WSOP coverage in “In Case You Missed It”. This week: The Main Event is underway and we bring you up to date on the stories from the biggest tournament of the year, some math behind the correlation of having a big stack on day 1 and cashing, Terrence and Adam share some of their Main Event stories and more. The rest of the final bracelet events are also reviewed like the $10k HORSE which was won by Andrew Barber. Andrew joins us on break from his Main Event to talk about some controversy that arose with another player in the HORSE, winning the tournament and his plans outside of poker. Our feature guest this week is Bill Chen, some know Bill from his appearance on High Stakes Poker season 1 or you may have read his book “The Mathematics of Poker”. Bill joins us from the Rio for an in depth interview on a ton of subjects like tournament variance, dealers choice mixed games, learning new games and his work outside of poker. After Bill, we head to the Isle of Man to talk to Steve Day at Pokerstars about some questions from the forum regarding Supernova and SNE status in the future, MicroMillions and the LAPT. Some great Main Event tweets are reviewed in “140 or less”, Adam has some forum shout outs and Ross has some live hands to review. The password and Format to the Pokercast Invitational is also in this segment, and since it’s close to the end of the week Ross will tweet it out, too! (Featured guests: Bill Chen)
