This week on the Pokercast: We’ve jumped on the Twitch bandwagon after lots of talk for the first live Pokercast! The crew is in the Vancouver studio together as we try and do live radio, for better or for worse. Terrence begins with a new fight announcement and Adam talks about the complications of listening to Podcasts in bed. This week in “In Case You Missed It” We review Daniel Negreanu’s debut to the live streaming world where he played $4/800 mix. Adam and T review 2 interesting high stakes hands from that session and then move along to the rest of the news. Other stories this week include: The APPT Nanjing being shut down by Chinese authorities, Lock Poker closes, Alex Jacob’s Jeopardy run comes to an end, Merge/Carbon cashouts taking 10+ weeks and Jonathan Duhamel and Pokerstars part ways. In the second segment, following the Twitch trend our guest this week is Jason Somerville aka Jcarver! Jason joins us for a multicast from his grind station to talk about his new relationship with Pokerstars as a pro, his history and what it takes to be a professional poker streamer! In segment 3 we are joined by Steve Day from the Isle of Man and Pokerstars to talk about Pokerstars making millionaires, VIP Club Live and a story about Ike Haxton taking advantage of a mistake in Stars’ sports book. Adam then gets into forum shout outs, “140 or less” and the mailbag. And of course, listen for the password to this week’s Jcarver themed Pokercast Invitational! (Featured guests: Jason Somerville)
