Home prices continued climbing at a steady clip during January. The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index rose 5.7 percent in its 20-city survey. David Blitzer, Managing Director of S&P Dow Jones Indices, tells the Wall Street Journal that tight inventories are a big reason for the price jump.
