Intel Plans to Cut 12,000 Jobs

Intel is planning to slash 12 thousand jobs, or 11 percent of its workforce. The Wall Street Journal's Don Clark says Intel has been moving away from putting chips in personal computers. He says Intel has also failed to capitalize on the popularity of smartphones.
