Lord of the Flies is a text often chosen by teachers for pupils to study at GCSE. It has an all male cast. Woman's Hour explores the book's appropriateness for girls and boys alike and how boys would fare with a novel comprised exclusively of female characters. In a recent poll 70 per cent of women in America had an unfavourable image of the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. So who are the women who are voting for Trump?
